The Associate Team Leader plays a supporting role to the Team Leader, Technical Domain Expert, and Project/Program Managers within the Land Cover team of the Biophysical Analytics group. The Land Cover team is responsible for deriving a variety of land use land cover datasets from remotely sensed data sources, such as aerial imagery and LiDAR. This individual helps supervise a team of knowledgeable staff who perform all production tasks required to move a project unit from data preparation to final delivery. Responsibilities of this role include facilitating technical workflow and programmatic process improvements, monitoring project benchmarks, providing oversight of data quality control (QC) and personnel management of technician through analyst level team members by tracking Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics and providing professional mentorship.
