Land Development Project Engineer

NV5, Inc., a leading provider of private land development engineering services in Central Florida, has an immediate opening for an entry-level civil enigneer.  The ideal candidate should be excited to learn the core principles of land development engineering within a studio atmosphere where collaboration, flexibility and self-motivation are important.

• Prepare designs and reports, perform calculations
• Interact and communicate with the project team, agencies, and possibly clients
• Perform site visit fieldwork work as needed
• Attend meetings
• Provide assistance for specific project-related tasks
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
• 0-5 years experience
• EI certification a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision as well as work effectively as a team member
• Valid FL drivers license
