NV5 is looking for a Project Engineer to manage Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing (CMT) projects. We are located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We collaborate with other NV5 geotechnical engineering groups from San Diego to Sacramento to Portland.


The Project Engineer is an experienced professional that is responsible for:

  • Understanding client objectives, code requirements and industry standards.
  • Supervising the work of engineering staff and field technicians.
  • Maintaining client relationships.
  • Managing project performance.


Project Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or equivalent
  • 2 or more years’ experience in Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) and Construction Materials Testing (CMT)
  • Insurable driving record
  • Valid NM Driver's License


  • Professional engineering license, Civil Engineer (CE) preferred
