Responsibilities

  • Manage Engineering and Surveying Operations
  • Client relationship management
  • Manage sub-consultants
  • Direct and develop proposals, presentations, scope and fee
  • Assist in business development activities
  • Actively participate in professional and technical organizations
  • Manage project budgets and prepare staff resource allocation
  • Solve problems on projects with minimal supervision, provide quality control, resolve technical issues
  • Coordinating internally with design and CAD technicians to ensure timely and accurate document and drawing preparation
  • Working independently on projects in all phases from client contact to completion
  • Manage plan production by staff and assist in production of construction documents

Engineers Specific Duties shall involve (If applicable)

  • Project design
  • Project management
  • Preparation of project specifications and design drawings
  • Preparation of opinions of probable cost
  • Provide senior level review of designs to meet client’s requirements
  • Coordination of Construction Management Services
  • Surveyor Specific Duties shall involve (if applicable)
  • Coordination of Survey team members
  • Assist with field survey needs
  • Assist with completion of survey data for engineering design
  • Ability to create Topographic Maps / Survey Plat Maps / Subdivision Plats / ALTA Survey’s / Easements
  • Coordination of Construction Management Services

 

Qualifications

  • Responsive, proactive, solutions-oriented professional, working collaboratively within a team environment
  • Follow and be responsive to project budgets and schedules; ability to identify departures from the project’s defined scope of work
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; Microsoft Office; and other standard industry software products
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Coordinate work with other team disciplines
  • Good written and verbal communication skills 

Engineering Specific

  •  BS in Civil Engineering
  • 10–20 years of experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Civil Design software
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite Surveyor Specific
  • A minimum of 10-20 years of experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficient with Trimble surveying products, R10 GPS, S6, TBC
  • Proficient in Geodesy and State Plane Coordinate systems
  • Proficient in construction staking
  • Familiarity with HDS and processing of point cloud data
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite

 

Certifications/Licenses:

  • PE Licensure in the State of Colorado
