The Proposal Writer writes, edits, and produces the company’s proposals and business development documents, and secondarily reviews technical documents. The Proposal Writer is responsible for designing, creating content, editing, and producing responses to RFPs and RFQs, and for producing SOQs and related materials (e.g., presentations, résumés, project descriptions, etc.). The Proposal Writer writes technical and marketing copy and assists technical staff with word processing, proofing, layout design, and production of technical and marketing materials in both hard copy and electronic format (MS Office, Adobe).
The Proposal Writer is accountable for the professional, timely delivery of proposals and related products. The Proposal Writer also assists with other administrative tasks as needed including advertisements and coordinating events.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of extensive experience and formal training.
Knowledge of construction, engineering and geologic terminology preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ proposal writing experience in the consulting engineering, environmental services, or construction industry.
Valid CA driver license
