The applicant must be familiar with Section 106 compliance requirements and knowledgeable of New Mexico Administrative Code (NMAC) relating to cultural resources. Take initiative to complete tasks efficiently, on time, and within budget. Must be responsible for problem solving, addressing issues, and communicating with Program Manager and/or Principal Investigator as appropriate. Ensure the information from the field is of high standards to produce a quality and accurate report. Must have excellent writing skills. Ensure a safe work environment and adheres to city, state and federal laws, guidelines, policies and procedures as well as guidelines and EEO/affirmative action policies. This position is under general supervision of the Program Manager.
Travel is an essential aspect of this position with the expectation of extended time in the field. Physical ability to conduct extensive fieldwork in extreme weather.
