The Power Delivery Group at NV5 provides design services to the electrical utility industry. We act as an extension of the utility’s staff to design electrical substations and transmission lines. Project scopes vary from equipment replacement to substation design. Because of the diversity of our clients, each project brings a new set of opportunities to learn and grow as an engineer.
We are seeking highly-motivated Electrical Engineering Students for Full-Time Positions. At NV5, members of project teams are given design responsibilities on their first day. Your understanding of electrical circuits and power systems will be applied towards tasks such as designing wiring diagrams for protective relay panels, routing below-grade conduit for substation equipment, performing calculations to determine grounding design, running load-flow models for electrical systems, and many more challenging activities.
