    • Performing or managing laboratory testing activities for soil, concrete, asphalt, masonry, steel and aggregate materials.
    • Candidate shall have good written and oral communications skills with clients and peer employees.
    • The successful candidate will thrive in a hands-on environment with limited direct supervision and be proficient with multiple software platforms.
    • This has the potential to be a long term position working as a materials tester subject to California Prevailing Wage rate.


    • High School Diploma.
    • Knowledge of construction processes, knowledge of CalTrans, ASTM and AASHTO test methods.


    • Current CalTrans certifications are desired for this position, through the CalTrans JTCP program preferably.
