    This position will directly assist senior engineers and project managers with both engineering planning and design services for water and wastewater pipelines, conveyance systems, transmission/distribution systems, and treatment/disposal systems.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Production of engineering drawings in AUTOCAD.
    • The preparation/production of technical specifications, reports, cost estimates, and other project-related documents.
    • Hydraulic modeling; and occasional field work.
    • Research assignments related to equipment, costs and environmental and permitting support may also be required.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with 0-2 years of relevant work experience (may include applicable co-op/intern assignments).
    • The successful candidate(s) should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ArcGIS and Civil 3D is considered a plus.
    • The successful candidate should also possess good communication skills including strong technical writing and time-management skills.
