    Responsibilities

    NV5’s Miami office is always looking for talented Field Technicians to perform various construction inspection, post tensioning, piles, earthwork, concrete, masonry, cement and aggregate testing, both in the field and in the laboratory for Geotechnical/Environmental construction projects.

    Qualifications

    Requirements for Level I Technicians vary depending on the type of work to be performed.

    • Must have 1 to 5 years of experience.
    • Must be ACI, FDOT or NICET Level I certified in concrete and soils or equivalent certification.
    • Must be thoroughly familiar with ASTM, AASHTO and ACI standards for testing and inspections.
    • Prepare daily reports for submission to QC Manager.
    • Enter and assign numbers into Lab Log book.
    • Review field and lab data prior to submission to Site Manager  
    • Must have basic English language oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be a motivated individual who can follow directions
