    The Project Manager I will manage all aspects of a facilities, materials environmental, or geotechnical engineering projects to ensure that is completed safely and on time and within the scope and budget.  The Project Manager is responsible for completing the projects as per its contracted scope; monitor progress and performance against the project plan.  Troubleshoot and recommend or resolve operational problems and minimize delays.  This role will conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project to the project team and client.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of medium sized projects
      • Set priorities, assign tasks and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and
      • Design, communication and implement a project plan for completion.
      • Develop understanding and be aware of project-related

     

    • Identify, develop and gather the resources to complete
      • Preparing calculations, designs, reports and work
      • Develop project schedules, budgets, and
      • Select materials,
      • Project staff and external

     

    • Quality monitoring and improvement on projects
      • Monitor quality standards and
      • Engage APRs on projects at the
      • Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize

     

    • Lead Safety efforts for team
      • Ensure team follows safety rules and
      • Responsible for creating and modeling a safe work
      • Demonstrate safety
      • Promote pre-task planning for all
      • Compliancewith all safety

     

    • Communicate effectively
      • Conduct
      • Prepare reports to communicate status of
      • Coordinate with APR to ensure appropriate oversight is in place and sufficient time allowed for reviews of all critical
      • Partner with other departments or offices to secure specialized resources for

     

    Qualifications

    • The minimum requirements for this position are a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field or the equivalent in education and
    • No engineering license is required for this position.
    • Experience with project management in an engineering
