NV5 is recruiting for a part-time Border Security Training Specialist for work within a 10 mile radius of Richland, WA and numerous locations overseas.
Lengthy International travel times to difficult environments (Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon); extreme heat can be a factor; training is primarily outdoor practical exercises in uneven terrain (rocks, sand); and accommodations can be austere at times; training courses vary from one to three weeks.
Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Background Check / Drug Screening:
Candidates who are proposed will be required to complete a background check, driving record, and drug screen prior to being hired.
Verification of education will be required prior to employment.
Candidates may be subject to baseline medical monitoring depending upon client requirements.
The person has to work well in a team environment, in international venues, and command the trust and respect of the training participants; international experience in medium to high risk environments is preferred, situational awareness is critical, and adherence to strict PNNL travel security plans is required, without exception.
