    The Supervising Environmental Specialist will be responsible for interpreting, organizing, implementing and coordinating environmental ecological and permitting assignments.


    • Plans and develops environmental projects/programs.
    • Maintains liaison with internal/external contacts with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters. Supervision is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
    • Supervises many individual complex projects or is responsible for a specific area as it relates to all projects in a department. Plans, organizes and supervises the work of a staff of specialists and technicians.
    • Evaluates staff progress, competency, and product (QA/QC project reviews).
    • Strong communication and organizational skills required. Performs client/business development activities to maintain and grow workload and client base.


    • BA/BS Accredited Degree
    • Ten years minimum experience as a principal environmental specialist or equivalent.
    • PWS preferred but not required.
