    The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and interested in team building, client relations, and continuous learning while applying a broad range of electrical engineering skills. In addition, this role includes mentoring and leading project teams to ensure project schedules, budgets, and expectations are met while providing exceptional customer service and quality of deliverables to our clients.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare electrical design calculations such as power distribution, lighting, and generator sizing.
    • Prepare computer based electrical system models and analysis.
    • Prepare design drawings and/or provide mark ups to drafting team or other project resources.
    • Edit project specification sections.
    • Perform construction administration tasks.
    • Must be able to travel to work-sites as needed or required.
    • Ability to plan, schedule and coordinate electrical engineering work.
    • Make sure that documents are in accordance with the company and client standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
    • Eight plus years of experience in building systems electrical design.
    • Experience in industrial electrical systems would be a plus.
    • Ability to communicate verbal and written instruction and/or directions to the project team.
    • Ability to interface with clients for project proposals and/or business development purposes.
    • Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of applicable engineering codes.
    • Ability to perform short circuit analysis and arc flash studies using SKM.
    • Proficient with AutoCAD and Revit.
    • Must be legally able to work in the US. Sponsorship is not available with this position


    Certifications/Licenses:

    • PE registration or EIT with the ability to obtain PE registration in the near future.
