    The candidate is anticipated to perform procurement administrative level duties with significant experience providing contract administrative support for engineering construction projects or transportation projects similar to the PPRTA Capital and Maintenance Projects. The resources necessary for Administrative Support are intended to be used for the PPRTA Projects to be managed by our client’s departments. The position may be needed seasonally or full time depending on the skill set of the candidate. The position will be located at our client’s office and the candidate will work under the supervision of our client’s staff member.


    • Operate as Entry Point Staff providing routing for Customer Service. Educate internal clients and external vendors on procurement procedures and how to do business with the Client.
    • Prepare and issue solicitation amendments and contract modifications;
    • Attend vendor outreach services to include trade fairs, and PPRTA Board and Citizen Advisory meetings.
    • Prepare, maintain, and update procurement and contract files.
    • Custodian of records to include assistance with fulfillment of various open records requests, track all contracts in both electronic and hard copy, and maintain archives.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports to the Procurement Services Manager for inclusion in his reports to management, businesses, citizens summarizing yearly procurement activities and contracting statistics, including spend data summaries of in-state, out of state, and local expenditures.
    • Coordinate and draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the division.
    • Coordination and planning with customers;
    • Preparing bid documents using both sealed bids and sealed proposals;
      Witnessing bid openings and assistance with proposal evaluation committees;
    • Analyzing bids and proposals to document award recommendations;
    • Provide advice and assistance to customers on all procurement matters in accordance with established procurement policies.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desire and ability to work independently with excellent people skills and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively on large and diverse projects.
    • 5-15 years of experience in contract administration.
