    NV5 has a need for a driller for a CME 55, performing geotechnical investigations statewide. Requires a CDL and Hazwoper. When not drilling, operator will maintain rig, and will be able to work as a Laboratory or Field Technician; willing to be cross-trained and ability to obtain basic New Mexico Technician Training and Certification Program (TTCP), American Concrete Institute (ACI), and/or National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certifications for performance of construction materials testing duties as assigned.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Operate and maintain CME55 drill rig.
    • Welding as needed to maintain augers. Work as Lab/Field Technician as needed.

    Qualifications

    • High School graduate or equivalent with strong math and reading skills.
    • Must be able to calculate basic equations, and write legibly.
    • Hours are 7am to 4pm Monday – Friday, some Saturday work when needed.
    • Must have a clean driving record.


    Certifications/Licenses:
    • CDL, Hazwoper (40hr), 811 for underground locate.
    • Willingness/ability to obtain basic construction materials testing certifications (soil, concrete, etc.).
