The San Diego office has an immediate need for a Gas Line Designer / Drafter to work in the Survey and Civil Design Group performing gas line design and as-built drawings as well as civil design for site development, street/roadway, and wet utilities design projects. The successful candidate will work with surveyors, engineers and consultants to develop quality deliverables in a deadline-driven environment.
The successful candidate must be an organized, detail-oriented, self-starter that will be responsible for the following activities: Prepare gas line design / construction drawings and as-built plans utilizing commonly used engineering software applications such as Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD), with expertise in Civil 3D.
The Designer / Drafter candidate will work with other office specialties and occasionally interact with clients, all in a collaborative effort toward common project goals.
