    Dade Moeller, an NV5 Company is recruiting for a Technical Writer/Editor for work at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Richland, WA. This is a Potential Future Opportunity. Local candidates preferred.

    A technical writer provides superior writing, editing and formatting services under supervision. The ideal candidate will possess impeccable writing, spelling, and grammar skills to support and to assist existing operations and project activities.

    • 2 years of technical writing experience
    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in English or equivalent field experience
    • Knowledgeable of Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Visio, Excel and Outlook)
    • Experience working in a government environment using government procedures and documents.



    Working Conditions The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).


    Physical Requirements   Sedentary work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.


    Background Check / Drug Screening

    Candidates who are proposed will be required to complete a background check and drug screen prior to being hired.



    Verification of education will be required prior to employment.


    Medical Requirements

    Candidates may be subject to baseline medical monitoring depending upon client requirements.
