    NV5 is currently seeking a dedicated professional with FERC and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) permitting experience to act as a FERC Permitting Project Manager.


    *This will be a work from home position*


    • Support the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
    • Prepare FERC Environmental Report resource reports, and federal, state, and local permit applications.
    • Research and interpret federal, state and local regulations and requirements.
    • Collect, manage and analyze environmental data and information.
    • Evaluate project permitting feasibility.
    • Interface with regulatory agencies.
    • Participate in project meetings; including client, agency, and public forums.
    • Work directly with clients to achieve site planning and permitting needs.
    • Build and maintain key client relationships.
    • Manage staff in the collection of data, preparation of figures and maps, and report production.
    • Coordinate with subconsultants.


    • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, or other similar environmentally related field
    • Minimum 5-10 years of FERC permitting experience.
    • Demonstrate an understanding of pre-filing and traditional FERC 7(c) application filing requirements.
    • Experience working with federal, state and local regulators.
    • Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), effective time management and organizational skills, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to balance work on multiple projects simultaneously.
