The Accounts Payable Analyst processes invoices and performs reviews , reconciliations, and analysis of vendor statements, invoices, PO's in relation to Accounts Payable. Also performs review and audit of employee expense reimbursements.


  • Audit and post AP batches for NV5 standards (GL account, invoice / description, approval according to authority matrix, adequate support, including scanned attachments, etc.); insures standard vendor elements have not been updated (payment terms)
  • Assist AP Manager in preparation of weekly AP invoice report
  • Create list of standard recurring expenses from offices (utilities, phone, copiers, etc.) and follow-up with sites when not provided with a week of typical due-dates
  • Follow-up with sites for sub consultant and independent sub consultant agreements and place vendor holds when non responsive
  • Assist AP Manager with weekly follow up to sites for PWP vendor invoices entered without related PWP details
  • Organizes AP files
  • Trains newly assigned employees including new acquisitions as a part of Deltek implementation



  • Knowledge of NV5 finance practices
  • Good organization skills
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial reports and records
  • Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with other departments and external clients
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
