Full-time position in NV5’s Parsippany, NJ Headquarters providing the NJ Planning & Landscape Architecture group, a fast-paced, multidiscipline team of professionals, with transportation planning and engineering support for local, regional, statewide and corridor-specific projects throughout NJ.


  • Collaborate across in-house disciplines (engineering, environmental, architecture)
  • Provide engineering-related services associated with traffic studies, complete streets, safety analysis, concept designs
  • Contribute to development of plans, reports and presentations
  • Lead public presentations and community outreach activities
  • Provide oversight and project management of budgets, schedules, client coordination


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • Interest in multimodal transportation planning and design
  • Familiarity with NACTO, AASHTO, MUTCD, ADA and related NJDOT design guides
  • Excellent writing, organizational and communications skills
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Synchro, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, Adobe Creative Suite
  • Second language skills desirable



  • Professional Engineering license in NJ, NY and/or PA desirable
  • AICP or Professional Planner NJ license desirable
