Develop construction drawings for utility and other civil engineering and survey projects.

Responsibilities

Use computer-aided drafting tools, technical handbooks, tables and calculators; Be intimately familiar with Caltrans Bridge Design Details Manuals and Standards; Confer with design engineers and other staff members to resolve problems and create construction documents; Prepare quantity take-offs in a professional and organized manner; Review completed construction drawings for accuracy and in conformance with the applicable standards and regulations.

 

Qualifications

Positive attitude, able to collaboratively work with others.

 

Certifications/Licenses

  • Auto CAD Civil 3D
  • High school degree preferred, but not required with appropriate experience

 

Compensation: Commensurate with ability and experience
