Under supervision, prepares design drawings of moderate complexity based on verbal instructions, sketches, and/or formal documents.


  • Prepares floor plans, site plans, equipment and component design drawings and other drawings for construction and remodel projects using computer aided drafting techniques. 
  • Utilizes AutoCAD and/or Revit software and maintains current knowledge of CAD and/or BIM technology principles and applications. 
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Certificate of Competency in Architectural Drafting preferred.
  • Willingness to learn or ability to use REVIT.
  • Ability to prepare floor, site, and other architectural plans using CAD drafting techniques. 
  • Skill in the use of CAD equipment and software. 
  • Knowledge of or exposure to architectural plan documents and specifications.
