NV5, Inc. is seeking a qualified Temporary Part Time or Full Time Lead Inspector to provide inspection services for a variety of routine field inspections to ongoing clientele responsible for providing customers with timely and accurate field inspector reports. The primary duties of this position include conducting asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold/bacteria/IAQ assessments within residential and commercial structures. Experience providing inspections for commercial and residential projects preferred. Project locations and durations range from assignment to assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections to verify construction is completed in adherence with approved codes, laws ordinances, regulations and standards.
  • Read, research, and objectively interpret code requirements.
  • Maintain clear, concise and comprehensive records related to inspection activities.
  • Interface with Project Managers, and clients through participation in project meetings and daily site interaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current lead risk assessor certification issued by the US EPA preferred.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and act as a “team player” with clients and co-workers.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft office software.
  • Must be able to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.
