NV5 San Diego Material Testing and Special Inspections Group is looking for talented Soil Technicians, ACI Concrete Technicians and ICC or AWS Special Inspector to join our rapidly expanding Group. The qualified candidates will provide construction special inspection and testing services for public and private clients including School districts, universities, utilities, Cities and Counties.
Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the construction quality industry, and good organizational skills. Must have a current valid driver's license and good driving record.
Compensation varies with experience and certifications.
Experience working on DSA school projects or Caltrans projects would be a plus.
Candidate must have appropriate card/certification for each qualified special inspection / Technician service.
Candidates must be certified by one or more of the following agencies:
Typical certifications would include ACI Concrete Technician, Certified Nuclear Gauge technician, ICC Soils, ICC Reinforced Concrete, ICC PT Concrete, ICC Masonry, DSA Masonry, ICC Welding, ICC Structural Steel, ICC Fireproofing, AWS Certified Welding inspector, NDT Level II.
