NV5 is looking for a Project Accountant to fill an immediate opening in its St. Paul office. This person will be working with project managers in multiple states and with another project accountant in the St. Paul office.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and invoices projects
  • Works with project managers to produce accurate and timely invoices
  • Answers inquiries from staff, vendors and clients
  • Follows closeout process for projects
  • Assists in collection of accounts due
  • Produces financial information/reports on projects
  • Reviews project reports with project managers
  • Reviews client and sub-consultant contracts and scope changes for proper supporting documentation
  • Records and files all negotiated credits, write-offs, claim payments or other labor and expense adjustments on projects
  • Reviews revenue based on established revenue earning formulas with each project manager at meetings on a monthly basis
  • Assisting in risk assessment; alert Controller and project manager to potential risks

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting required
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with all employees across all levels of the company
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
