NV5 has a need for a Laboratory/Field Technician at its Bakersfield, CA location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide testing services in the laboratory as well as field duties on private and public clients including, Cities, Counties, and utilities. 
  • Perform routine laboratory testing and field testing, including grout and concrete sampling and testing, compaction testing on soils and bases, sampling and testing of Asphalt concrete. 

Qualifications

  • Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication abilities and have at least 2 years’ materials testing and or construction related experience.
  • Must have a current valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Compensation varies with experience and certifications.

 

Training/Licenses:

  • Candidate is desired to have one or more Caltrans, ACI, Nicet, & ICC Certifications.
