We’re seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst to apply advanced GIS and LiDAR expertise in support of vegetation management and Transmission & Distribution (T&D) network projects. 

In this role, you’ll perform complex geospatial analysis, oversee LiDAR-driven deliverables, and ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment where your technical skills will directly contribute to project success and the delivery of high-quality geospatial solutions.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities 

  • Execute advanced GIS and LiDAR analysis for Utility Vegetation Management in T&D networks. 
  • Produce, interpret, and validate LiDAR-driven deliverables with high levels of accuracy. 
  • Utilize GIS tools to map, track, and analyze vegetation data for integration into utility systems. 
  • Perform thorough quality control (QC) checks on spatial data to ensure accuracy and consistency. 
  • Identify and assess vegetation encroachments near powerlines using GIS and LiDAR technologies. 
  • Support the development of automated workflows to increase efficiency and streamline production. 
  • Work independently on complex tasks while collaborating effectively within a hybrid, team-based environment. 
  • Communicate regularly with task leads and production teams on progress, risks, and estimated timelines. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with GIS analysis and spatial data management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in geography, environmental science, planning, GIS, or related field, or equivalent experience. 
  • Proficiency with ESRI software, vector-based platforms, and Terra Solid products. 
  • Professional experience with GIS applications for utility vegetation management. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in: 
    • Advanced GIS analysis and geospatial data visualization. 
    • LiDAR mapping and analysis for vegetation and infrastructure applications. 
    • Utility vegetation management workflows for T&D networks, including compliance with clearance regulations.
    • Evaluating and interpreting T&D infrastructure components (e.g., wire types, insulators, transformers). 
    • Developing automated workflows, risk assessment methods, and compliance strategies.
