As a Senior Business Development and Marketing Manager will be expected to identify new business development opportunities and drives sales, revenue, and company growth. The position requires a self-motivated and active networker who values building credible relationships with clients and the community. A flexible approach to challenges and a strong ability to think laterally in delivering project solutions is needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company’s growth objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends and competitive landscape.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with other businesses and organizations.
• Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, including identifying target markets and customer segments.
• Lead the creation of informative presentations to potential clients and strategic partners.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of business development activities, adjusting as necessary to meet company objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, agencies, and regulators to influence policy and advocate for NV5’s interest. (i.e.: building departments and such)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for industry associations.
• Organize and participate in industry conferences, trade shows and other events to promote NV5’s interests and network with key industry players.
• Develop and manage the budget for business development and external affairs activities ensuring cost-effective use of company resources.
• Provide regular updates on the progress of sales and business development initiatives to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10+ years of relevant business development and marketing experience.
• Knowledge of general construction methods is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and under time constraints.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
