Overview

NV5 Geospatial is in search of a seasoned Program Manager with the unique technical tradecraft experience and demonstrated client facing management to support a maritime based program to obtain and deliver geospatial intelligent data to our customers.

 

The successful candidate will lead a Maritime Domain Awareness solution prioritizing the use of available commercial sources, artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition and network analysis to deliver datasets to our clients expectations and commitments to their intelligence needs. The Program Manager will provide exceptional quality service through the management of the team and through the coordination of the services provided to ensure program success.

 

Role: Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) Program Manager

 

Work Environment:

  • Remote; preferred location: DC Metro or St. Louis, MO
  • Travel required:  <15% Travel expected to meet with clients CONUS and OCONUS

Responsibilities

  • Client facing communication of program plans and status changes

  • Communication and coordination of internal resources as well as subcontractors

  • Ensure resources are sufficient to provide expected service deliverables

  • Control of program finances to contract cost expectations

  • Client negotiation for change and risk management

  • Provide Quality Assurance oversight through use of established QMS

  • Ensure timely delivery of client datasets to strict program delivery parameters

  • Customizable training plan development

  • Develop, manage and track schedules and deliverables

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years professional program or technical project management experience

  • Experience in Maritime Domain Awareness datasets and acquisition

  • Experience managing solutions comprising AI/ML object detection, classification, pattern recognition and network analysis; data fusion; and intelligence reporting

  • M.S. or B.S. in engineering, business, or another related field or equivalent experience

  • Demonstrated effective management of client and program resources

Desirable:

  • 10+ years of technical leadership of a maritime program

  • Statement of work development and contract management experience

  • Experience with contract transitions

  • Background with NGA, US Navy, Coast Guard

  • Background with acquisition management

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Security Clearance Requirements: 

  • Top Secret eligibility and ability to obtain SCI
