As our Project Manager you will provide leadership oversight of the design and construction of Power Delivery projects. You will work with team to secure, manage, and deliver projects from new and existing clients. Your experience in public utility design and construction, as well as experience with business management, will help our group provide best in class support to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage scope, schedule, and budget of individual projects.
  • Work with a matrixed team to provide tasks and deliverables on time.
  • Provide clear direction of actionable tasks to all project stakeholders.
  • Monitor KPI’s, critical path, risk management, etc.
  • Provide project analysis and metrics for individual projects.
  • Be the primary point of contact for internal pers and clients’ internal work teams.
  • Manage construction, procurement, invoice preparation, and project documentation.
  • Continuously build and maintain a network of third-party consultants and vendors.
  • Lead project acquisition efforts including identifying opportunities and working collaboratively with the Marketing team in preparing bids and interviews for jobs.
  • Provide technical support and observation services during construction.
  • Develop and monitor project organizational and administrative systems.

Qualifications

 

  • BA or BS Degree Engineering, Business, Construction Management, Urban Studies, Planning or other relevant field, or equivalent training and experience.
  • 6+ years of experience as Assistant - PM or Project Management relative to public utility design and construction (electric distribution and transmission overhead & underground infrastructure). (Required)
  • 3+ years of experience in public utility design and construction, natural gas pipelines, water/sewer infrastructure, or electric distribution overhead and underground infrastructure. (Preferred)
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera P6 or other relative scheduling software.
  • PMP Certification. (Preferred)

 

The pay range for this California position is $100,000.00- $130,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
