Overview

The Senior Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Technical Specialists and Lead Analyst to ensure efficient data flow and task management within the team. This position provides oversight to technicians and analysts while contributing to data production using ArcGIS Pro, Trimble Inpho, Photoshop and Global Mapper. The Senior Analyst ensures quality control, trains team members, and enhances workflow efficiency to meet client requirements effectively. 

 

Work Environment:

  • Location: Portland, OR Office - Onsite
  • Travel < 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and support technicians and analysts 
  • Ensure smooth data flow and task execution 
  • Conduct rigorous QA/QC on deliverables 
  • Train team members on workflows and methodologies 
  • Develop process efficiencies and improve methodologies 
  • Apply sound judgment in troubleshooting and problem-solving 
  • Demonstrate excellent technical writing skills 
  • Improve data processing techniques 
  • Perform thorough QA/QC and data finalization 
  • Automate workflows to enhance efficiency 
  • Contribute to innovation through new technologies and methodologies 
  • Monitor technical KPIs, including workflow velocity and efficiency 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical, professional environment (Analyst or equivalent role) 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
  • Advanced knowledge of ESRI or vector-based software  
  • Knowledge of Python, GDAL, UltraMap and/or Capture One 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
