We are seeking several dedicated and experienced Environmental Project Manager's to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a Professional Engineer (PE) looking to take on more responsibility and advance their career in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • The successful candidate will manage site assessment and remediation projects, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and work closely under the mentorship of experienced Principal Engineers.

Responsibilities

Project Management:Lead and manage site assessment and remediation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Site Assessments:Conduct and oversee Phase I and Phase II ESAs, including site inspections, data collection, and report preparation.

Remediation Planning:Develop and implement remediation plans for contaminated sites, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Team Coordination:Coordinate and oversee the work of project teams and field staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.

Mentorship:Work closely with and under the mentorship of experienced Principal Engineers, gaining valuable insights and expertise.

Client Interaction:Consult with clients and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, and maintain strong client relationships.

Risk Management:Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Reporting:Prepare project reports and documentation, and communicate project status and changes to team members, clients, and stakeholders.

Technical Expertise:Provide expert advice on environmental issues and sustainability practices, and work with scientific and technical staff to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

Business Development:Assist in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Certification:Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental project management or a related field, with a focus on site assessment and remediation projects.

Skills:Strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of environmental science and regulatory compliance.

Software Proficiency:Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

 

The pay range for this position in Washington and Oregon is $90,000 to $130,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
