Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation of US tax compliance and internal tax department staff to meet filing deadlines.
  • Actively participate in the quarterly tax provision pursuant to ASC740 and tax related disclosures for the 10-K and 10-Q.
  • Evaluates uncertain tax positions and prepares appropriate documentation to support company’s conclusions.
  • Identify tax issues and devise global tax strategies to minimize risk.
  • Actively participate in managing foreign entities’ tax compliance.
  • Prepares management reports to assist the Director of Tax and senior management regarding the tax-related items.
  • Works with the internal and external audit, as necessary.
  • US Federal and state tax planning.
  • Coordinates with outside service providers.
  • Supports Finance personnel to minimize redundancy of efforts.
  • Supports and actively participate to manage income tax audits and inquiries by governmental authorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s in Taxation a plus.
  • At least 7 years of experience in public accounting and corporate tax department.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Understanding of Federal and State tax issues.
  • Understanding of tax issues related to mergers & acquisitions, global operations, and international taxes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Independent and self-driven with the ability to find solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
