We are seeking a qualified ICC Inspector to provide inspection services for the development of energy projects in the Southern California. Typical project types include power generation facilities (renewable and fossil fuel), electric transmission, gas transmission and associated facilities as well as industrial development.

 

Project location is Southern California and durations range from assignment to assignment. Per diem included.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections to verify construction is completed in adherence with approved codes, laws ordinances, regulations and standards.
  • Verify that construction complies with approved construction documents.
  • Read, research, and objectively interpret code requirements.
  • Maintain clear, concise and comprehensive records related to inspection activities.
  • Review complex engineering documents to ensure construction compliance.
  • Interface with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients through participation in project meetings and daily site interaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience providing inspections for energy generation, transmission or heavy industrial projects.
  • Combination inspector with experience with California adopted codes preferred.
  • Must have current inspection certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC) – Combination Building Inspector certification preferred.
  • Must possess experience providing inspections for energy generation, transmission, or heavy industrial projects.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft office software.

 

The pay range for this position in California is $145,000 to $165,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
