NV5 is seeking a USCG Licensed Master to operate and manage our hydrographic survey vessels. The successful candidate will be highly organized with previous experience in vessel operations management and have demonstrated strong leadership skills to navigate safely. The Master operator will manage all maintenance associated with the vessel, shipyard repairs, shop and facility assistance, and mobilization and demobilization of survey projects. The candidate will create a strong safety culture on the vessel and ensure that all crew members are working safely and clearly understand their duties. The Master Operator will report to the Marine Operations Manager. While the vessels are primarily located in Morehead City, NC, the Master Operator will be expected to travel for an extended time based on the requirements of the project’s scope.
